<title>Learn Strikethrough, Superscript And Subscript Tag In Html</title>
</head>
<body>
<p><strike>Strikethrough text</strike></p>
<p>22 equals 4</p>
<p>xx* yy equals zz</p> </body>
</html>

In this file i have three paragraphs again just as i had in the previous post with some more tags in between the opening and closing paragraph tags.

So i have the opening strike tag and the closing strike tag between the opening and closing paragraph tags. And what feature will this result into, well  i’m sure you are aware of the strikethrough style in Microsoft Word.

If you want some text and if you want that text to be striked out then you have to use a strike tag.

Let me talk about the other two tags that are new in this tutorial. Before showing you the file in web browser i have the superscript  tag and we’re meeting this tag for the first time in this post.

Suppose you want to have an expression like 2 square equals 4. That is, 2 to the power 2 and you know guys that when you have something as power of something you have it like kind of elevated.

You know it’s superscript basically and to have that effect you use the “sup”tag. So i have 2 the opening “sup” tag and then the closing”sup” tag in between these two i have another 2.

One 2 will be at the base level another 2 will be at slightly elevated level. So this will result into the expression 2 square equals 4.

Then i also have subscript tag used for the first time in this post. Between the opening and closing paragraph tags i have “x” subscript “x” times “y” subscript “y” equals “z” subscript “z”.

It’s not unknown expression i just created one.

I will show you guys how the file looks in web browser,

Learn Strikethrough Superscript And Subscript Tag In Html

This is how it looks. First paragraph has a text “Strikethrough text” which is striked out and the second one has the expression 2 square equals 4 and the last paragraph has the expression “x” subscript “x” times “y” subscript “y” equals “z” subscript “z” and subscript is actually like text at a lower level as superscript is text at an elevated level.

conclusion:

So i hope you guys understood the strikethrough, subscript and superscript tags in html with an example.
